Training Opportunities with Linkcare
The training courses we ran at our site in St. Albans to cater for the needs of the gate automation industry are temporarily on hold while we move our training site to a new location. We hope that the new site will be up and running by the end of April and we will produce the next set of training dates then.
These courses are open to all, but are particularly relevant to those engaged in automatic gate installation on a regular basis.
The schedule consists of three main courses:
1. The Introductory course is designed for newcomers into the automation industry from allied trades with a high level of competence in the use of tools and site safety which is pre-requisite for all courses. This course provides a good grounding in the all aspects of the automation industry including marketing, surveying, system design, and the installation of standard systems.
2. The Intermediate course is design for experienced automation engineers who want to apply for LinkCare Network Approved Installer status. This course covers the installation, configuration, commissioning and fault finding in detail and is designed to train engineers to be able to work on a wide variety of systems and brands by understanding the principals of automation systems.
3. The Advanced course concentrates on safety training, including risk assessment and system design with regard to European safety directives and dynamic force testing. This course is also a requirement for those who want to apply for LinkCare Network Approved Installer status. All courses include both theoretical and practical aspects.
